A brighter future
The Faces of PHACE campaign will celebrate the young people of Peterborough that are finding success in business thanks to their exposure to culture from an early age. Our aim is to highlight just how important culture and heritage are for the future of Peterborough.
One third of the population of Peterborough is under 25 and they deserve the best this city can offer, especially right now as we look to recover from Covid-19. We’re raising funds to support Arts Award in schools. Arts Award is a nationally recognised qualification that builds confidence, creativity and leadership skills.
Taking part in Arts Award creates an intuitive and articulate young adult; the sort of young adult that could bring great skills to your workforce.
CULTURE CREATES SKILLS
Young people who learn about music, art and drama develop skills in communication, teamwork and collaboration
They have confidence, competence and imagination
They are able to evaluate and reflect critically on their work
They can engage with their environment and their community

We need your help to:
Invest in the future workforce of Peterborough
Support and retain young professionals in the city
Expand and develop the conversations we’re having with culture and education organisations
We’ll develop a gallery, featuring images of Peterborough’s young people, and their stories, to celebrate the city. We’ll top it off with an exhibition event, celebrating all that young people have to offer us.
If we can join the dots and find ways to give young people and children access to a brilliant, consistent culture and heritage offering, then we will soon see a generation of bright, aspirational young people in the city.
This is just the beginning of the journey. Our aim is to create an annual event, identifying and celebrating Peterborough’s brightest young people. Support us now and the future Faces of PHACE could well be part of your team!

Your business’s donations are vital, especially in the wake of Covid-19, to support the city’s young people as they look to their futures.
There are five different levels of Arts Award. You can choose to donate as much as you’d like, here are some examples of how we could use your donations.

£30 pays for one young person to qualify with a silver level award

£220 pays for 50 Explore level booklets and arts log packs
​
£500 covers the cost of training an Arts Awards Adviser in a school
​
£1125 pays for 50 young people to qualify with Bronze Level awards
